Well, I don't feel like we'll find a way out right this second, definitely, but... there are a lot of people here who are very capable. The pathway out won't be easy, but I do think we'll be able to find it.

I think the four who came to see us do want to help us - we could probably start by asking them for help. Or at least a little information! Something to get us started.

That is true. But, I think... if everything they said yesterday was a lie, I think it'd probably make more sense to lie to us and say things aren't as bad as they are than tell us a cult is trying to sacrifice us, you know?

They also panicked when they first came - when their veil spell or whatever it was wasn't functioning. That makes me think that they really are putting themselves in danger to help us, which lends a little more credibility to their story.

I would still call this very fast to be trusting them. Even if they are planning to help, it make not work out in the way they want, at our expense.

It's more like...out of necessity, if that makes sense...? I don't think ignoring everything they have to say is going to be very helpful.

... I'm aware. If they have useful things to share, then it's worth knowing. But do take it with a pinch of salt at the very least. If they do turn on you, you'll have no remorse when it comes to getting revenge.
