Really...? They have books from all kinds of different worlds - there were even some from Orsterra, Miss Ashlyn! It was amazing. I feel like I'm going to spend the whole week in there!
Well, I was able to talk to you a little in that silent library.
[ a tiny bit. ] Plus... I think it would be useful to learn, right? For situations where you can't be loud. I think... I'm loud a lot. [ no kidding ] So... I should learn how to find ways to communicate with people who maybe don't respond as well to that. Right?
[ well, she doesn't disagree, so she nods. ] Yeah. It only really helps if the other person knows it too, but it doesn't hurt to be ready just in case.
And we ought to be able to do everything we can just in case.
[ considering you know know what kind of absolutely batshit thing will happen in good old scawwy. he will lead the way to the library, and holds the door open for her when they get there. much less creepy and bad than the cyoa library. ]
[ the way all of my notifs were lost in the great party game war i apologize ]
Is it? I mean, I guess we could probably read in here forever... but, there's probably a system of organization! I was looking at some history books earlier, so I don't think language should be that far off. C'mon.
[ leading the way!!!! towards one area of the library idk man ]
[ has someone explained tv to him. who knows. he nods though ]
Mm. Books can actually be pretty hard to come by. There's really only one big library like this in Orsterra - otherwise, books come from merchants who happen to pass into towns here and there. A lot of people don't actually know how to read, either...
[ (zia voice) rondo is literate? ]
But - I was really lucky, and grew up around books. So I really like to. [ hehe. ] The first time I went to the Royal Library, I thought I might faint, I was so excited!
[ hypothetically.... they could have a printing press........ do they? who knows ]
They are, to me. I like learning - and before I became a knight, I used to read stories about knighthood and chivalry all the time. Gallant adventurers, brave heroes... things like that. Plus, my sister loves them! So, once I was old enough, I would read to her at night before bed with our parents or Heathcote.
Week 3: Monday
I'm starting to feel real grateful that the first new place we got had clean clothes and not teeth on the floor or blood trees.

[ a little stilted because. yeah. the librarian sure did kill aiden in front of her. but it's. fine. she perks up at that second part, though. ]

I bet people from your world read a lot more than mine. Since you don't have TV or anything.
