...well... There's this place called Berecain. It's deep in the Highlands, near the south of the continent. The town itself is on the slopes of an active volcano, though it used to not always be active. I've actually spent a lot of time in the Highlands lately, and that's pretty far from Flamesgrace, let alone from Edoras.
I get to travel a lot, as a part of my duties. It's something that I enjoy very much - though, believe it or not, this is the first time I've ever seen the ocean up close.
...It's a really, really, really depressing place. [ rondo says in kind of a hushed whisper. like he feels bad about admitting this to ashlyn but also. berecain is so sad and terrible. it is just the worst place ever. he does not understand why people live there.
