[ well... todomatsu is just kind of wandering around after execution because he doesn't know what to do with himself and doesn't have anywhere to go to do nothing. when he sees rondo he'll offer a bit of a smile, though it's more of a "haha well everything sure sucks doesn't it!" commiseration smile than anything. ]

We have found ourselves in quite the situation - and with little way to tell what will come in the future that we can prepare for, either.

Yeah, I think that's the worst part. If they happen to pick your monster for their stupid ritual and you lose the toss, that's it. You don't know when it might happen and there's nothing you can do to prevent it.

[ yeah. yeah, that really sucks. it's hard for rondo - a go-getter, an evil-vanquisher - to deal with the idea of being powerless, and he falls quiet for a moment, putting his hand on his heart. ]

I pray that we're able to find a way out of this quickly. [ but even he doesn't sound like he believes it'll be that easy. ]
