[Unfortunately one of said soft people is the one here, and Erin looks around, pondering how easily it'd be to sneak around, and decides that fine. She'll at leat make an effort]

[ oh... well... okay. rondo responds well to this kind of thing - being told what to do works better on him than almost anything in the world, because in his heart, he's the apprentice of the flameguard, the hardworking knight he's always been. he starts to stand, rubbing at his eyes.

he looks just past her, for a long moment, staring at something... and then shakes his head. ]

[ he sounds. a little amused, a little confused... it has not occurred to rondo you could just steal one of these houses. but there's definitely appreciation on his face, as he tries very very hard to not focus on his surroundings at all. ]

[When you feel fine taking over land by force, at least. Erin leads to one of the houses, opening it easily. It's very nice and cozy inside, perfect for a breakdown]

[ listen. the softer words would be lost on him, probably? he's used to a rougher hand, so there's something kind of comforting about the sass. it actually reminds him of richard, a little, and he smiles, tired and soft, not quite there. ]

Mm... I just - I started feeling a little strange after the tea. [ his gaze briefly tracks past erin, to something behind her. ] I... thought I heard someone familiar.

[Erin has been subtly glancing behind her whenever Rondo looks behind her, but this time she gives a more noticeable glance because really, it's making her more nervous. She can hear hallucinations of her own, but she's coping. Forcing herself to cope, but she's doing it. Rondo's way of glancing behind her is straining her]
