Oh! [ rondo pokes his head out of the foilage!! he's got leaves in his hair. ]

[ she lifts to make a kind of basket with the fabric and will kind of half-trot to catch the first few. the next, she reaches up and catches right out of the air. ]

Fruit-bearing trees, we really lucked out, huh?

[ rondo has yet to think about why there are trees in weird places (peaches? near the beach??) and is mostly just vibing with the joy of being able to eat actual food again. he tosses fruit...toss...toss - and then ]

[ she laughs with a little "ow ow ow" as it falls into her skirt and rubs her forehead a bit with the back of her hand. she shoots a smile back up at him and holds up the "basket" proudly. ]
