It seems like it... first Miss Laudna's, and now this. It was... We were in the manor of a devil, and had to rescue someone. Karlach said that she had to do something similar.
... It... does kind sound of easy when you put it like that, doesn't it? They... had our souls, somehow. We had to find a hammer to break the chains that held Miss Hope, and... get our souls back. Much like Hell at home, it was full of all sorts of fiends and monsters that were all out for blood.

Least you don't have to worry about that. Whatever's making you relive all that might just be pulling from our memories, but the magic's clearly got an effect if you're getting injured for real.
